The S1 Pro's navigation and maps are outstanding, and the dToF LiDAR system in the internal unit that allows it to keep the appearance of a slim profile while delivering top-notch object avoidance. It can be driven close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps, and it also raises its mop automatically when it drives over rugs and short-pile carpets. However, it struggled a little when encountering longer-pile carpets as well as some long, thick messes of dried-on debris.
